Aerospace

The Aerospace industry deals with the manufacturing of aircraft and aircraft components.

There are many processes in aerospace manufacturing where tolerances are very low. In such environments, particulate matter can create quality issues. Static electricity can cause personal shock and/or poor process or product quality. There are also many applications within this industry that require personal lifting. Weaver’s work here has included helping implement Alum-A-Lift customized portable ergonomic lifts and lifting devices to streamline productivity and reduce worker injury.

Also for clients throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Canada, Weaver has used Simplex softwalls, portable cleanrooms and cleanroom devices, and strip curtains to segregate clean and dirty processes. Simco-Ion air ionizers and devices have been used in many applications involving composites, which create static charges. CRI motorized HEPA-filtered fan units have been used to build laminar flow hoods, modular hardwall cleanrooms and custom cleaning stations.

Aircraft Manufacturing

Aircraft manufacturing is a subsector of the Aerospace industry and deals largely with the manufacturing of airplanes and helicopters for personal, commercial and military applications, along with their component parts.
