The Solar industry includes the manufacturing and processing of polysilicon, silicon wafers and photovoltaic solar cells.

The manufacturing processes in this industry can be negatively impacted by contamination, which significantly compromises performance. The presence of static can affect yields and impact productivity. And unsafe or awkward lifting can increase exposure to liability and decrease efficiency.

Weaver’s work in this industry has included designing and implementing Alum-A-Lift custom engineered portable lifts for clients spanning Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Canada. We’ve also designed and implemented Simplex softwall cleanrooms and strip curtains for isolating clean and dirty processes, Simco-Ion industrial air ionizers and systems to control and eliminate static electricity charges, and CRI motorized HEPA filters and laminar flow hoods to filter air.
